Founded in 2006 by Hugh Miskel the former Director of Sales Promotion for The Home Depot, Mountain View Promotions, Inc was established to be a sales representation, product development, strategic plannning and retail consulting resource for manufacturers and entreprenuers, with an emphasis on retail activation.

Is a 30 year sales, marketing and event marketing veteran. He has brand marketing experience on both the manufacturing and retail sides of the business.  (Black & Decker and The Home Depot) He built highly successful and award winning event marketing programs with both companies.  He has an extensive background with NASCAR and Olympic sponsorships and multiple dealings with each of the major leagues, sports, networks and studios.  Under his guidance Home Depot established strong branding presence within college football and

NASCAR with the following programs; ESPN College Gameday Built by Home Depot, SEC Football on CBS presented by Home Depot and Raceday Built by Home Depot. Hugh establish a new B2B business model for  sponsorships at Home Depot which resulted in the naming rights to The Home Depot Center in Carson, CA

and partnerships with Six Flags and Disney.

As the Director of Sales Promotion for The Home Depot he was responsible for working with vendors and merchants on promotions.  He was also responsible for corporate alliances and media integration while

representing the companies interests to non-vendor partners and managed the retail implementation of those programs. (Trading Spaces, Survivor, Apprentice, The Contender, This Old House)

Hugh has an extensive history in brand development and management. As part of the marketing department for Black & Decker he played an integral part in the strategic planning, roll out and retail activation of the

DeWALT brand of power tools in 1992.  He also put his branding experience to work with Home Depot for their proprietary brands such as Husky, Ridgid Tools and Vigoro.

He has served on the Board of the Atlanta Sports Council, the Advisory Committee for the Atlanta History Center and has been heavily involved in community relations programs like KaBOOM, Habitat for Humanity

and The Hands On Network. He is a well respected marketing executive with a wealth of knowledge and contacts related to retail implementation serving both sides of the table.
